Rafuna: Electricity price growth endangers local product, companies are closing down

Kosovo Economic Ode Chairman Lulzim Rafuna has said that increasing the price of electricity has jeopardised the local product.

Rafuna even said some companies were closed, and some are thinking of leaving the country.

Instead of increasing export, there are company closures, there are companies that are forced to shut down, we're talking about this because of the cost of stream”.

But we have companies that are considering the possibility of moving to northern Macedonia, and Albania, especially in the Kukes section, because in Kosovo, at the moment, according to information that brings business to our members, the price of electricity is almost the highest in the region”.
