The blast occurred in an eight - story building, with parts of the heavily damaged lower floors, while windows throughout the building were broken.
Hormozhan Crisis Management Organisation, noting that the investigation due to the incident in Bandar Abbas is continuing, said that after the explosion in a residential complex, 14 people were injured and, tragicly, a 4-year-old girl lost her life.
Some unofficial sources have claimed that Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the IRC Navy, was the target of the incident.
The Tasnim News Agency, which is linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has denied these rumors as completely false “”, Telegrafi reports, broadcast Periscope.
Other reports indicate that blast sounds were heard in other Iranian cities, including Ahvazin near the Iran-Iraq border.
Israel has denied involvement in both attacks.
