Through a media report, the LDK has indicated that the media can only stay in the hall during the speech of President Abdixhiku.

“You announce that tomorrow (Saturday), January 31st, 2026, the Democratic League of Kosovo holds the Workplace. The Assembly starts work from 11:00. Mayor Abdixhiku has demanded a vote of confidence after the poor result the party received in the last elections, creating a new practice in the LDK.
He had declared he would resign, but unlike past resignations, Obadiah's resignation is expected to be voted into office by party delegates.
Otherwise, Abdixhiku has a party deputy leader, Avdullah Hoti, for counterCandidda.
