It is reported that the deadly explosion in Ahvaz was caused by a gas leak, while the cause of the second explosion is still unknown.
The Mehr news agency, citing the Ahvaz municipality's fire and security services, reported that the explosion occurred at an apartment complex in the Kianshahr neighbourhood.
More than a dozen vehicles parked near the building were also damaged.
