Burim Shala arrested, suspected of misuse in Eco Region

According to the prosecutor, Shala is suspected of criminal activity “use of official position or authority”, by Article 1414 paragraph 1, concerning Article 31 of the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code, as well as for criminal work “possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.

His arrest has been made under investigation that the Special Prosecutor is conducting over allegations of illegal activities in the area of public procurement. Investigations are under way.
