(6 months ago)The Constitutional Court in Prizren has accepted the demands of the Constitutional Prosecutor for the appointment of the detention measure against five (5) suspected persons. According to the Prizren Court's announcement, four (4) defendants, in the quality of the commissioners, are suspected of forging criminal acts of voting results, while a (1) defendant, in the quality of [...] leader, is suspected.
The Constitutional Court in Prizren has accepted the demands of the Constitutional Prosecutor for the appointment of the detention measure against five (5) suspected persons.
According to the Prizren Court's report, four (4) defendants, in the quality of the commissioners, are suspected of forging criminal acts of voting results, while a (1) defendant, in the quality of the head of the Kosovo Republic's Municipal Election Commission (KKZ), suspected of misuse of office or official authority, by Article 414 paragraph 3 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.
During the day, between 2: 00 p.m. and 4: 00 p.m., three (3) hearing sessions were held and completed, and the fourth session is expected to be held in the next hour.
The court has indicated that, within the legal deadlines, it will compile decisions regarding the demands of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren and that the media will be announced in time for the verdicts of the judge of the preliminary procedure.
