AUV bans sheep and goat impotment from Northern Macedonia

The Food and Veterinary Agency has announced it has banned the import of sheep and goats in Kosovo from northern Macedonia. “2004/21 is prohibited from importing live animals of sheep and goats, as well as their by - products (skins and wool), including products originating from these animals that are not automatically treated or originated by the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
The measure comes into force immediately and will remain under way until further assessment of the situation by relevant international authorities, as well as by the Kosovo Republic's Food and Veterinary Agency.
The public and economic operators will be informed in time of any evental change”, the decision said.
