Today, the LDK Labour Assembly is being held, where the party's leadership issue is expected to be addressed after the poor result in the December 28th elections. Before the start of the meeting, President Lumir Abdixhiku, who has offered his resignation, has spoken to the media.
Abdixhiku has assured LDK members that this debate will come together.
The “ensures the entire LDK chairmanship that, from this country, we will emerge even more unified. By majority of votes we expect to establish our political destiny”, he has said.
Asked about the race within the party, following Avdullah Hoti's announcement of candidacy for LDK chairman, Abdixhiku has stressed that the Assembly has the right to decide on everything and that any decision will be made in accordance with the party statute.
