The recounting process at the Counting and Results Centre is about to end.
According to the latest CEC update, 2,244 deployments -- totaling 87.76% of the total 2,557 countries envisioned for recounting -- have been re-counted Thursday.
This process, which is launched on January 13th, 2026, has already been completed fully in 30 municipalities.
The announcement of final results is expected to take place early in February, as after reviewing complaints that could be filed, it is expected to proceed with the certificate of results.
