Rasim Koci had been killed and missing on April 1, 1999, near the village of Oka and Syla. From then on, his family had lived amid hope and uncertainty about his fate, broadcasting news.net.
Besides the pain and anxiety we've had, it's a kind of liberation for us, for the family. Now we know where the dead will rest, because we have bitter experience with the last three wars; in all three we have lost men, this time three. So this has been a great relief to us and continues to be relief, except for pain and frustration. We also pray to God that all the other uniques will be found and laid to rest on their land”, said family Ali Koci.
On the other hand, the representative of the Government Commission for Missing Persons, Conception Gara, recalled that the issue of missing persons still remains an open wound for many families in Kosovo.
