The Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers has decided to postpone property tax deadlines for 2026, a decision that applies to all municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo.
Under that decision, the deadline for issuing property tax bills has been postponed until 31 March 2026, while the payment of the first tranche could be made by 30 June 2026.
From the ministry it becomes known that extending the deadlines is aimed at providing citizens with more time for meeting tax obligations, as well as ensuring fair and efficient implementation of legislation in force.
The municipalities have been forced to implement this decision in the same way and inform citizens of the new deadlines for property tax for 2026.
