Renowned stylist Giorgio Armani passed away at the age of 91.
Born in Piacenza on July 11, 1934, Giorgio Armani was one of the most famous Italian designers in the world and a symbol of eternal freedom.
After he moved to Milan with his teenage family, he graduated from Leonardo da Vinci's high school, which he soon abandoned in the fashion world, which he kept silent as a window decorator at Milan's Rinascent.
In 1965 his life changed: he was hired by Nino Cerruti, who led him to design his first men's clothing and develop style that would make him famous, trusting the restoration of the Hitman brand.
However, it would take almost ten years for his name to appear in the fashion world - that was in 1974, when the Armani by Sicons line was born for a brand of leather clothing.
The following year, in 1975, he founded Giorgio Armani SpA along with Sergio Galeotti, and from then on he began building a fashion empire that bears his name even today.
