The composer of I Love Lips and Britney Spear is dead in London, after multiple stabs.

The winning award artist Grammy, whose real name was Mark Orabiy, was found on a property in Rayleygh Road, in the Silvertown area after police were called to the scene about 0900 Friday morning.

The 35-year-old was found with multiple stab wounds and was rushed to hospital, where unfortunately he was declared dead shortly after his arrival, writes DailyMail.

Metropolitan police announced that another man, in his mid-20s who also suffered knife wounds, is continuing treatment at the hospital. His condition is not considered life threatening.

Authorities have launched investigations into the case, while three persons have been arrested under suspicion of murder. A 27-year-old has been released on bail until the outcome of further investigations, while a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have been released without charges brought against them.

Talay Riley was a popular name in the music industry. In 2014 he combined the song “Last Dance” of the world-renowned Albanian singer I want Lipa, part of her debut album. In addition, he had contributed as writer and composer to projects of artists such as Chris Brown, Nick Jonas, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, David Guetta, JLS, Khalid and Zendaya.

He was also the author of Khalid's “Yung hit, Dumb & Brooklyn” and of Khalid's song “ho Do You Love” from The Chainsmokers' group.

His career began to take note in 2009 when he collaborated with British rapper Chipmunk in song “Look For Me”, which reached 7th place in the British toplist. That same year, he received credit for the song “Option Daisy”, which reached first place in the United Kingdom.

After the tragic news, numerous figures of the music industry have expressed their pain. Repper Chipmunk published several joint videos with Riley on Instagram, writing: “Fly upstairs, brother. Your pen will live forever”. Even rapper Stormzy reacted with a brief but touching message: “I'm sorry, brother”.

During his career, Talay Riley had performed a tour of the United Kingdom and the United States of America with artists known as Scepta, Usher and Trey Songz.

His family published an emotional statement that described him as a boy, brother, uncle, and dear friend.

Mark brought love, light and joy to our family and to all who knew him. We will always remember him for goodness, beautiful spirit, and extraordinary talent. His memory will remain forever in our hearts”, said the family response.

A moving message also published his brother, singer Scribz Riley, whose real name is Michael Orbyy Riley.

I never thought the day would come when I would write this. Broken heart confirmed that on Friday morning, June 5, my older brother Yinka (Talay Riley) was separated from life. My heart is broken. I don't think that's real. Just before we slept, we talked about the future, about staying positive, and everything we had left to do. I never imagined that it would be our last conversation”, he wrote.

Scribz added that his brother will be remembered for the talent, kindness and positive energy that characterized him.

Meanwhile, messages of comfort have also come from artist Craig David and representatives of the music industry. The American record house Position Music described Riley as an extraordinary writer and artist whose influence will be felt for many generations.

Investigations into the tragic event continue, while British police have called for any person who may have witnessed or who has images from the scene to contact authorities to help clear the case. /Periscope
