Lawyers representing Reperin P Diddy told the judge that he is overseeing the sentence that he should not be punished for more than 14 months.
They argued that Diddy has spent difficult months since his arrest and trial, staying at one of the worst “detentions” in the country.
Lawyers seek his almost immediate release, stressing that the rapper has shown commitment and has experienced various forms of violence during his stay in prison.

P Diddy was convicted earlier this year of two counts of involvement in the trap of persons for prostitution purposes, while he was acquitted of charges of trafficking human beings and blackmail.
Even though the court can provide up to 10 years in prison for each of these charges, its lawyers argue that a fair sentence should not exceed 14 months, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
If the judge decides on this move, Diddy will be released from prison in November of this year.
Diddy's lawyers stress that the rapper faced “full strength and the government's incredible” power in his previous trial, but was finally found guilty only of certain charges.
They underline that the government's demand for a much longer sentence -- five times the average for similar cases -- is inappropriate.
The legal team, led by Marc Agnifil and Teny Geragos, also mentions Diddy's voluntary contribution during his stay in prison and includes supportive letters from family, friends and collaborators, including his mother, Janice Combs and former girlfriend Yung Miami.
