In 1999 when we had to flee our homes, it was you, the Albanian families in Macedonia who kept us alive, you waited for us as your children, you gave us hope, when we had no hope, you gave us love when the world seemed heartless, the dark nights you brought us back to light because we were together because we were one.
These pictures you're seeing are us.
My family was received by the Haziri family in Gostivar, today 26 years later we have not only come to sing, we have come to thank you. I remember that love, hospitality, your sacrifice, are the reason we're here. We are children of that time who never forget your hospitality.
This concert, this music, this night is for you. For your love that saved us, for memories that never die.
