I want Lipa, the world-renowned singer who held the concert over two hours at the Sunny Hill festival, visited Xporting House before marking 12pm on Monday, at 04.08.2025.
They want to accompany Dukagjin Lipa, her father and the founder of the festival, Callum Turner, the famous actor and fiancé of I Love Lipa, Dji, Lipa, her brother, and others.
She was hosted by museum producer Life Jarra, museum curator Gazmend Ejupi, journalist Donika Sahini, and staff and volunteers of the reporting House.
I want Lipa said “you have a wonderful job of telling the history of Kosovo in this” museum.
Dukagjin Lipa thanked that the museum opened beyond his schedule and said this visit was accomplished because of respect for the work done with this museum.
Callum Turner took an interest in the shooting of British special troops, éparatroopers, who had come to Kosovo on the first days of NATO entry and were seen on footage making a landboarding for mines in Pristina, until I wanted him to tell about Pristina's famous neighborhoods, which he saw in the 1999 BBC-made shoots.
Donika Sahini, the journalist who had preserved the Jashart children's notebook, said “was fantastic with what interest, curiosity and modesty I want and Callum listened to my story about the books saved from the Jasharts' house that I saved for this museum. Callum even asked me in detail about the resistance of the Jashar family and the children who had fallen that day”.
This made me very happy, so that a couple so familiar with their families who got so involved with the festival and their concert, the concert I saw and made me happy, took time to visit museums and take an interest in our work” said Sahini.
Jarra, co-founder of the museum “Reporting House” said that “we have had an influx of people who have visited our museum because they have come to Kosovo for Sunny Hill, so we have been able to tell the history of Kosovo people who would not normally come to Kosovo”.
So this shows that, beyond the high professionalism shown these days by the company's staff “Republic” that have organised the festival “Sunny Hill” which I visited every night is awesome how useful the Lipa family was to all of us who live and work in Kosovo. They just did us a favor by promoting a modern Kosovo, a Kosovo youth who feels comfortable in their own skin and comfortable with their own stories, and for me a painful surprise was especially that after all the fatigue with the festival, this family took time to take an interest in Kosovo's stories hours before I had to travel and catch the plane for its next trip. This shows a remarkable focus of this family to do good not only for its own self, but for Kosovo”, Jarra added.
During her visit, Lipa and family members also visited the Gallery of Reporting House, featuring the work of the 18-year-old artist from Gaza, Husseyin al-Jerayai, titled “Framework of Survival”.
Reporting House” opened in 10,06.2024 at the former house of goods “Grmia” in Pristina and reflects the great work that local and international journalists have done during the Kosovo war. The hour for the visit during August is Tuesday, Friday, 10: 00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 to 6:00. /Periscope/
