Eyewitnesses said a drone fired a rocket into a crowd waiting in line with empty bidonas near a water tank at the al-Nuseira refugee camp.
Residents rushed to the scene and transported the wounded using private vehicles and carts, writesBBC.
It becomes known that the attack comes as Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip have escalated.
A spokesperson for the Gaza Civil Protection Agency said 19 other Palestinians were killed today, in three separate attacks on residential buildings in central Gaza and Gaza City.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (KNKK) said his field hospital in Rafah had admitted 132 patients “suffering gun-related injuries” only on Saturday, 31 of which died, broadcast the telegraph.
“Extraction and alarming degree of these incidents with mass casualties underline the terrible conditions civilians are experiencing in Gaza”, the KNKK said.
