Over 2 thousand divorces in Kosovo during 2024

Fewer divorced couples were marked in 2024 than a year ago.

In 2024, 2 146 divorces were registered. The largest number of divorces, according to municipalities, was in: Prizren (209 divorce cases) or 9,7%; Pristina (165 cases) or 7.7%; Check (155 cases) or 7.2%, etc.

Compared to 2023, the number of divorce cases in 2024 is smaller in 66 cases or 3.0%.

According to the duration of the marriage, it dominated the fifth to ninth year by 32,4%, followed by the tenth to fourteen years with 15.1% of divorced people, etc. /Periscope/
