Agim Sahin, chairman of the Kosovo Alliance of Business (AKB), said it will continue with protests following the entry into force of the decision to transfer major businesses to the free energy market by 1 June. He claims this is no longer a free market, but an expensive “teg”, where businesses are facing affordable electricity prices.
The protests are inevitable, we will meet with the organisational council today and the decision will be made on further steps because the free market decision can already be said to be the decision of the expensive market, Sahin told FrontOnline, the Periscope broadcast.
According to Sahin, the first negative effects of this decision have already been seen, a company in Ferizaj has started reducing the number of workers and is considering the possibility of closing the plant or making further cuts.
The first results of this decision are clear where a company from Ferizaj has lowered the number of workers and is considering how it acts or closes the plant or reduces workers, the head of the GDP said. /Periscopi
