Bislimi, has said that the June 2nd meeting was scheduled to be trilateral, but Serbia's team has faced delays during its departure to Brussels.

“has also been an initial, but this has not been possible because complications have occurred with Serbia's team, which has not arrived in Brussels due to delays in Vienna or something similar to”, he has declared.

He said that Sorensen has been notified about the approach he intends to have in the next stages of talks, whether at the level of chief negotiators or high meetings led by Chief diplomat Kaya Kallas.

At this meeting, Bislimi said they have set up a series of topics, which are of great importance that as soon as there are answers from Brussels or solutions.

For example, we have the case of integrated border management where there are huge shortages on the part of Serbia, as in fulfilling their obligations, for example, at three border points they've had to build, or in response to our proposals that in Bujanoc, for example in Dobros, Mahovc and Breznica, open seasonal points during the time when there are more travelers coming back from the diaspora, but also for the problems we have in this field with the recognition of the Victorary certificates, even those self-reservatives and the obstacles Serbia does. Then we raised the topic of huge costs that are being raised by the dysfunction of the interconction lines between Kosovo and Serbia, which are Serbia's unfulfilled obligations under the implementation of the energy agreement. We reported that up to what size are the losses Kosovo has on an annual basis, and barriers that Serbia is constantly artificially placing”, Bislimi has declared.

The European Union's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, has also been declared for the meeting.

Sorensen warned there would be a three-party meeting soon, as he said yesterday's meeting was a preparation.

I waited today for Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, under preparations for the trilateral meeting of dialogue in Brussels today. We discussed a series of important issues on normalising relations with Serbia. I plan to organise a trilateral meeting soon”, Sorensen wrote.

EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Kaya Kallas has warned the continuation of dialogue during her visits to Kosovo and Serbia.

The EU reiterated that the agreement on the road to normalisation of relations and the Ohrid annex for implementation remain in force and that both sides should implement them. /Periscope/
