The late November 2023 opinion in Kosovo was shaken with one of the worst killings in recent years.
First reported as armed robbery, the murder of Liridona Ademij took a different turn a few days later.
Naim Mursel, her husband, was arrested under suspicion of having organized and even paid the handout for her murder.
Murseli together with his associates, in the next week, will begin the main review at the Pristina Constitutional Court, since the indictment filed against them passed all judiciary filters, follows Periscope.
The family of Liridona Ademijs, expect the occasion to be handled with priority and eventually to have a merit epilogue.
“The case of Liridona, like the entire Kosovo, we too expect the Court to address with high priority and sensitivity. The quickest judicial establishment and conviction of the accused is the ringing call in the souls of all women and girls in our country victim to the only “faj” who are women and vulnerable persons. We expect this trial process to climax with such a conviction that reminds everyone who gets a “gux4> such as this, to think not only twice but to have the conviction of the accused to play the maximum preventative role in the future”, has declared Tv Dukagjin, Leutrim Syla lawyer of the Liridona Ademiaj family.
For charges weighing on defendants, according to lawyer Ardian Bajraktari the sentence could amount to a common prison sentence.
Even the courts are taking this serious and tragic event seriously, and with effective treatment we have good justice evidence management and ultimately the verdict to end with meritive decision for defendants as known as charges weighing on them no less than 10 years but can go to life imprisonment of”, the former Ardian Bayrak lawyer has pronounced.
Liridona Ademiaj, was killed on November 29th, 2023, while Pristina prosecution accuses her husband, Naim Musel, Granit Plavin, Cocalla Framework and Tom Dodate. The latter has pleaded guilty to selling the weapon and has been sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of 5 thousand euros.
According to the prosecution's indictment, Murseli, Plava and Kokalla had earlier agreed that the murder would be carried out by the accused Plava with an agreement for Murseli to pay him 30 thousand euros.
The entire plan for the murder of Liridona was reportedly made by her husband, now accused Naim Mursel.
