Since the start of the Israeli attacks Friday, 28 persons in the capital have been arrested and accused of spying on Israel, writes CNNTranslation Periscope.
The Iranian regime has also arrested dozens of people across the country because of allegations that they have distributed articles on the internet “in support of the syonic regime” by accusing them of ruining the “psychological security of society” including 60 persons in Isfahan, where Israel claims to have targeted a nuclear power plant.
The wave of arrests comes at a time when Tehran was shaken after it found that Mossad operatives smuggled weapons into Iran before Israel's attack and used them to target the country from within.
Allegations against Iran have increased so much since then that the Intelligence Ministry has asked the public to report suspicious activities and has issued instructions on how to distinguish collaborators.
A statement by the ministry urges people to be careful with foreigners wearing masks or glasses, running trucks, and carrying large bags, or filming about military, industrial, or residential areas.
