“With this discovery, we will meet the needs for Turkish families' natural gas for 3.5 years,” said Erdogan, naming the reserve a strategic achievement of around $30 billion, Reuters reports.
Currently, the daily production of natural gas in the Sakarya field has reached 9.5 million cubic metres, while Turkey continues to strengthen its energy positions through the development of local resources and international partnerships.
