Starting at Camp Bondsteel, pilots and crew members of ASS532 Cougar from the Swiss Armed Forces, an H145M from the Hungarian Defence Forces and three UH-60 Black Hawks from the US Army practiced joint ups, flights to formation and landing procedures.
The crew members from the three contributing countries managed to coordinate procedures and techniques to navigate, communicate and operate together”, KFOR said.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as for freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
KFOR added that it works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union for Law Rule Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responsible.
