Svechla: No Albanian was admitted to Serbia's Police, discriminated approach that essentially has ethnic cleansing

Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Svecla has reacted after the latest police competition in Serbia was not accepted by any Albanian, which he said is a discriminated approach to Albanians in Presevo and Bujanoc. According to Svechla, it shows that Serbia daily shares their approach [...]

According to Svechla, this shows that Serbia daily shares their discrimination approach.

Full response:

10% of the total Kosovo Police are among the communities, and over 50% of them are from among the Serb community. In the last 3 processes, special for communities, 210 new members from the same community have been outlined.

At the last police competition in Serbia, out of 43 officers admitted to Presevo and Bujanoc none is Albanian. And also from 22 police officers in Medvedja, none of them is Albanian.

This testifies to our approach to integration and co-operation with the citizens of the Serb community living in Kosovo, while Serbia is spending more and more of its discriminating approach to Albanians in the Presevo Valley, which essentially has their ethnic cleansing.

This ethnic cleansing that Serbia is doing in every form to Albanians living in the Presevo Valley, subsequently violating any basic right of theirs, should be punished and stopped immediately by the international factor./Periscopi/
