1. The annulment or delay of the decision for at least a year to allow market time to be truly liberalised and businesses to prepare.

2. Implementation of open and public consultations, in accordance with the law, for any decision of great influence, including energy tariffs.

3. The handover of full analysis in the Assembly, immediately after its constitutionalisation, along with the market liberalisation decision.

4. The annulment of the decision to increase the price of electricity for family economies, with the pledge to find alternatives that do not burden citizens.

LDK deputies' request with support from other ERE deputies submitted for cancelling the decision on increasing electricity prices
Today, even officially submitted to the Electricity Regulatory Office ( ZRERE's request by Democratic League of Kosovo deputies and other deputies for cancellation or postponement of the ZRE's decision to remove about 1,300 businesses from the regulated electricity market. An annulment of the decision to increase the price of energy for family economies has also been called for.
The request of LDK deputies and other signatories of the motion are:
1. The annulment or delay of the decision for at least a year to allow market time to be truly liberalised and businesses to prepare.
2. Implementation of open and public consultations, in accordance with the law, for any decision of great influence, including energy tariffs.
3. The handover of full analysis in the Assembly, immediately after its constitutionalisation, along with the market liberalisation decision.
4. The annulment of the decision to increase the price of electricity for family economies, with the pledge to find alternatives that do not burden citizens.
MPs stress that in the absence of a functional and competitive market, any such action to force businesses away from the regulated market would have serious consequences for the economy and would constitute violations of public interest.
This requirement is a necessary step to protect the interest of citizens and businesses at this sensitive time
The Democratic League of Kosovo initiative has been signed by 30 deputies and delivered to ZRE by LDK Deputy Chairman Mrs. Hykmete Bajrami and LDK head member Visar Azemi.
This is just one step to protect citizens' interest in the face of a decision that will have consequences in making each citizen and business life difficult in Kosovo. There will be other actions once institutions stemming from the February 9th elections that have been blocked by the Vetevendosje Movement as the first party.
