Israel's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Yuval Raphael, held the final test before the performance in this music contest, and videos are being circulated on social networks.
While interpreting “New Day Will Reese” in St. Jacobshalle, as can be seen in video, the public, in addition to the Israeli flag, waved the Palestinian flag. Some shouted in protest of Israel's participation in the Eurovision Song Festival.
Raphael's video, receiving applause at the end of the test, is also being circulated on social networks. It will perform tonight in the second semifinal at the Eurovision Song Contest under the number 14.
