Osmani: Remembering Konushevci and Malaj pledged to preserve freedom

Today, we respectfully remember hero Ilir Konushevci, the invincible KLA warrior, in the mission of freedom of country. Along with Dr. Hazir Mala, they were steadfast in their commitment to freedom as their leap broke unfaithfully into an organized ambush at the time when the Kosovo Liberation Army was lying down and quickly organized to carry out its liberation mission. Killing them was a serious loss for the KLA, but also a cornerstone for our freedom and for the state they fell, and justice is their duty. They fell together, but they rose eternally in national memory as a symbol of a combination of knowledge and weapons, of courage and humanity, of freedom and sacrifice. The memory of Ilir Konushevci and physician Hazir Malaj is the permanent pledge to preserve the freedom earned with their blood and to live with the dignity of the wish they left behind.
