According to reports by Turkish media, the club had been aiming to invite the pop superstar, Dua Lipa, to perform at the festive ceremony.
World-renowned singer of Albanian origin reportedly asked $3.5m for a live presentation, writes DailyMail.

That figure was considered too high by the directors of the Stamboll Club, and as a result, the offer was rejected.
Despite refusing co-operation with the singer, celebrations for the 25th Galatasaray champion title will be held, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
This historic achievement gives the club the right to place five stars on the coat of arms a symbol of Turkish football representing every five titles won.
Founded in 1905 by Albanian writer Sami Frasher's son, Aliu, Galatasaray remains the most decorated team in Turkish football history, further strengthening its domination and sports heritage. /Periscopi
