On this anniversary, Haradinaj has shared the pain and memory with the family of the fallen, calling this crime “a deliberate act of extermination of Albanians on their land”.
Through a Facebook post, Haradinaj stressed that these massacres “are evidence of the high price that the people of Kosovo have paid for the freedom and state we enjoy today”.
He underlined that Serbia's crimes cannot be forgotten or forgiven, seeking to establish justice for victims.
“Today, on the anniversary of these massacres, we have remembered and honoured with the trees the superiors and warriors of this side, who fell into various battles of the Kosovo Liberation Army in Dukagjin: Skender Ceku from Macedonia, Jaha Kabashi, Blerim and Bekim Kelmendi, and Rifat Veselin from Lribjan,” wrote Haradinaj.
He said Kosovo is still filled with graves of Albanians executed, while many others have not yet been found.
Justice for victims must be put in place! Eternal be the memory of the low for freedom!”, he's out.
