LDK Headship member Muhamet Hamiti has blamed the government in office for Kosovo's non-membership in the Council of Europe.
He has suggested that because of this government Kosovo is away from the integration processes in Euro-Atlantic structures.
Citing EU sanctions, Hamiti has estimated that in the past four years the image of the state of Kosovo has been severely damaged.
“With the ruling class of the past four years, Kosovo is away from the processes for integration into Euro-Atlantic structures. We remained outside the Council of Europe last year. Furthermore, Kosovo is under EU sanctions for two years now. For the first time in its history as an independent and sovereign state. Our country's image was damaged”, Hamiti wrote./Periscopi/
