On the first semifinal night, finalists will no longer be announced simply by reading the names of the sites, but three countries will appear on the screen simultaneously, and the exhibitors will then announce one of them that will pass away.
An effort was made to bring change into force in 2023.

The remaining two countries will not be eliminated at that point, but their status will be revealed later.
Finally, when the last tenth finalist is announced, the remaining six countries will appear on the screen, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
An example of the new way of reporting: Sweden, Croatia and Portugal appear on the screen, and after a few moments the exhibitors read that Sweden is moving to the finals.
The status of Croatia and Portugal remains unknown until further notice.

In recent years, organisers have tried various models to make the announcement more interesting.
As a reminder, the first semifinal night begins at 9:00. Out of 15 performers, 10 will pass to the finals, and viewers will also have the opportunity to see performance by representatives from Italy, Switzerland and Spain who will pass directly to the grand finale. /Periscope/
