The famous humor actor Elvis Pupa and his wife, Beina Pupa, are accused of cultivating 43 cannabis plants at a residence in Ascot Park, Australia.
According to reports by foreign media, Beina Pupa has been arrested by Australian authorities, while the actor is reportedly on the run after leaving Australia, where they live for years.
Belinda Pupa has appeared at the Adelaide Magic Court, but has not yet filed a plea for two counts, one for the cultivation of cannabis and one for interference in power supply without permission.
On Tuesday 20 May, before Judge Natalie Browne, the defence attorney requested a bail release for Beina Pupa to be allowed to travel abroad for work reasons.
The request has been rejected because of the seriousness of the charges, as well as because its partner, co-ordinated, is still on the run.

“We are looking for the defendant's partner and we have information that he has left the country”, the judges said.
The judge is taught that he postponed the case and left Belinda Pupa in freedom on condition that she appear again in court next week.
“Zanja Pupa is a social worker and therapist with an international business she works with clients worldwide, mainly of Albanian descent,” said the lawyer. Her “Klientela is in Albania, America and Australia. It travels for about three months each year to stay in Albania and develops its work even on media”, he said.
According to court documents, provided by the “The Avertizer”, Pupa allegedly cultivated cannabis plants from January 1st to April 4th of this year.
The 39-year-old has more than 80,000 Facebook and Instagram followers, which posts content intended to help people of all ages improve welfare, physical and psychological health.
On its official page, it describes itself as a person with a rich experience in running and transforming mental health services both in Albania and South Australia.
It is further said that she was a law professor at a university in Albania, as well as working in the US as a real estate agent and in the financial sector. He has also trained as family and school counselors in Adelaide.
