From dwelling in ruins, the history that turned into court battles for about two decades

The Mustafa family, after the Serbian police and army had burned the house in the war, after the war contract had been contracted to build an apharisto-bane facility on their land. This would be the home and future promised to the Mustafa family. But they are seeking their right through the court now and [...]

The jobs were left in half, for several years, they claim they had not come in contact with construction worker Bujar Gorani. In attempts to get in touch, even sending the paperwork to Mustafa says that in 2007 they were forced to address the court.

We've had it over on August 30th, 2007”, says citizen Jevahire Mustafa, Justice Vow, broadcast Periscope.
The plaintiffs were brothers Nazmi and Sami Mustafa, as well as their brother's son Faruk Mustafa.

Having spent years living by rent, Nazmi Mustafa decides to invest himself in unfinished residence. And with basic shortages, he and his family decide to live in a building that is more like a rubble.

Nazmi Mustafa's daughter, Aferdita Shehu, although having trouble talking to cameras, has been expressed through a letter.

With our maximum insistence we were forced to withdraw from that apartment. At that time my mother also had an accident by going down the stairs, in the absence of sideguards, the consequences she now suffers, says she.

The parties had exercised the indictment at the Mitrovica Municipal Court, but because of territorial competencies, the subject had been passed to the Pristina Constitutional Court.

Although the indictment was held in 2007, the first session was held 14 years later, on March 3, 2021.

“Pass has achieved the damage in Pristina in 2014, the first session is held on March 3rd 2021. Until then, it hasn't happened with the Court, when you've heard of it, we've had a few meetings with the owner once again, we've started calling, we've met, but we can't ever hear from”, said Jevahire Mustafa.

Jevahyra's husband, Sami Mustafa, would change his life without taking an epilogue.

And he always wanted to die in his apartment, but that wish was not met, and we were not able to bury him in our homeland because of the irresponsability of the investor, because of his selfishness, so we were forced to bury him in Germany, that at that time was the time of the pandemic, that height of the pandemic where we couldn't even afford to rent with the corpse, that's what's done with the contract, that's what's been done with, that's what's been said by the case, he's a lot of it.

To complete the work, the Mustafa family says they had tried to make another deal in 2015. According to them, Goran had demanded that the family support him at the completion of his work, but with the request that the latter give up claims of compensation.

The Mustafa family says they had offered their support for completing the work, but not to give up compensation.

Despite this, in efforts at a deal, the family says they agreed to lower the value of compensation and investment they had made at the site, but that builder Gorani has refused. /Periscope/
