Deputy Prime Minister and acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Donika Grovalla has reacted with harsh tones following today's Special Prosecutor's Action that included incumbent Agriculture Minister Faton Peci.
Through a Facebook post, Gervala named the intervention a “in exuberance” led by prosecutor Blerim Isufaj. It strongly defended Minister Peci, who called “the most exemplary minister of this mandate”.
According to her, the prosecution's move is nothing more than a “ugliest act against Minister Peci's commitment to the fight against corruption.
When exactly those tasked with protecting the rule of law and the citizens of the Republic from crime misuse justice organs for revenge and tarnishing successful and clean political figures, then nothing should ever again surprise us,” wrote Gervala in her response.
It ends with a message: “But, going back does not. Until the complete reform of the justice system.”/Periscope/
