The song “Zeyerm”, performed by Beatrice George and Cole Laca, sparked the atmosphere in the first seconds of performance, with long, unbroken applause from the public in the Basel Arena.
Their performance has also received special attention from international media. CNN, in a separate article by journalist Rob Piquetta, has ranked “Zerem” as the most appreciated song of the final, describing it as unique and outside of any common Eurovision ratings.
In a proposal for CNN, singer Beatrice Gjergji said they are not big fans of the festival and that “Zeyerm” does not usually represent their musical style, but that emotional distance has been an advantage. “There's nothing like this performance on the stage, and that's why we're getting the attention due from fans,” she stressed./Periscopi/
