In an interview for EO, Ahmeti confirmed that the Kosovo Liberation Army has respected international conventions and that the Special Court initiative was based on groundless accusations.
I think this process should be won by people who have no guilt. They were Kosovo rescuers. Kosovo's Liberation Army has respected all international norms and conventions. I believe there will be a triumphal conclusion by KLA members in the trial process at The Hague”, said Ahmeti, one of the known KLA figures.
That court process at The Hague calls it unjust to the Kosovo Liberation Army.
The start was so unfair. An Injustice to U CK with “Yellow Book”, “Yellow House” by Swiss MP Dick Marty. It was a major compromise, not just of Kosovo, but of all Albanians. Here is the Special Court initiative, but now, despite raising other issues, the truth will prevail”, he said.
Ahmeti added that those who have given for Kosovo are irreplaceable for its future.
Kosovo needs all its people. Kosovo needs all fighters, the more those who have fought for its country's freedom and have given much for Kosovo”, Ahmeti told EO.
Now four and a half years, former KLA leaders Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi are in custody in The Hague, where they are facing charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity. /Periscope/
