The VV failed Albulen Hadziu's election to head of the Parliament all that happened yesterday at the session.

Following two failed attempts, the Kosovo Assembly was eventually constitutionalised, enabling the oath of new elected deputies in the February 9th elections. However, efforts to elect the Speaker of the Assembly have ended twice in failure. The head of the session, Avni Dehari, said that during consultations between political parties, reconciliation had been reached for the approval of the Commission's report on verifying mandates with unanimous votes. All 120 MPs voted for the report to be drafted by the previous composition of the Commission, thus enabling the new Parliament's formal oath.

Following the report's vote, Kosovo Parliament deputies passed the oath phase. Chief Dehar read the text of the oath, while all MPs were sworn in, except those of the Serbian List who refused to call “I swear”. The move prompted Vetevendosje MP Dimal Basha's reaction, which demanded that Serb List MPs be rejected.

Even the signing of the text of the oath, which includes the commitment to work in Kosovo's interest and to respect constitutionality and legitimacy, was carried out by MPs from the Serbian List outside the plenary hall to avoid being caught by cameras.

One of the main points of discussion has been the request of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) for the resignation of ministers who have been elected as MPs. Chairman The PDK, Memli Krasniqi, stressed that this requirement was included in the record and has opened up the possibility of reaching consensus.

On the other hand, incumbent Finance Minister Iron Murati has declared there has been no change, accusing the opposition of “of changing words due to fears of losing mandates. ”

Following the Deputies' oath, the Vetevendosje Movement proposi Albulen Haxhiun for the post of speaker of the Parliament. However, Haxhiu failed to get the necessary majority in the first attempt, with 57 votes for, 20 against and 3 abstentions, nor in the second attempt, with 57 votes for, 19 against and 3 abstentions.

The Social Democrat Initiative and two deputies of non-Serb minorities abstained. As a result, the session was cut off for 48 hours, returning at 1500 on Monday.

Civil society has stressed that failure to elect the chief parliament is a consequence of the lack of will for a political compromise, and has stressed that the burden of finding a solution falls on Vetevendosje Movement as the biggest subject in the Assembly.

Political reactions have not been missed.

Chairman The PDK, Memli Krasniqi, said that even though the nomination for the mayoral post belongs to the party with more mandates, no one is obliged to vote on it. The Democratic League of Kosovo criticised the failure to elect the prime minister, linking him to “political arguments and procedural violations”, and stressed that Vetevendosje “does not have sufficient numbers for the formation of institutions. ”

The Social Democrat Initiative, through President Fatmir Limaj, estimated that with the constitution the way has been opened for the formation of institutions and that the rest of the process is expected to be closed soon.

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj stressed that if any of the two LV deputies, such as Saranda Bogujevci or Albanian Selimi, were run by the five lawmakers of this party, it would be up for.

In another statement for the media, the Democratic Party of Kosovo expressed readiness to assume responsibility for forming the government, with Bedri Hamza as the candidate for prime minister.

In contrast, the Democratic League of Kosovo said yesterday's bid for the vote by Parliament Speaker Albulen Haxhiu from VV é is a clear example of the lack of parliamentary support this party has.

Meanwhile, the Vetevendosje Movement has no intention of changing its candidacy. With regard to the case, both MP Hadziu, who is acting Minister of Justice, has said her name will continue to be proposed to the chief parliament, even in the next attempt to convert the Assembly.

In the Constitution and not exactly in the Parliamenting Order it is defined how many times the winning party has the right to propose the candidate for the top parliament. However, without the choice of chief parliamentary and vice-presidents, the new legislature cannot be considered constitutional./Periscopi/
