Total notification of IPK's:
IPK investigators, based on legal competencies under official office, have begun to take preliminary action regarding police actions in implementing the warrant for the arrest of the person R. B (was suspected of the murder case of police sergeant Muhamet Lika).
From preliminary investigative actions and accepted official communications, there is reasonable doubt that until this phase of the investigation, two police officials have failed to perform official duties and have shown serious neglect in implementing the ordinance for the arrest of the suspected R person. B.
From the information documented and provided by the IPK, there is doubt that a police lieutenant in the position of chief of the operating sector has been aware of the warrant for arrest, but allegedly has not taken concrete operational action to locate and apprehend the wanted person.
Also, based on investigative actions, a police sergeant engaged in the quality of the supervisor at the liaison unit for the courts has failed to report time and accuracy for the warrant, as well as allegedly not taking the necessary steps for its execution.
Both police officials for whom The IPK has recommended to the Kosovo Police their suspension have been engaged in duty at the Kachanic police station.
The IPK estimates that their failure in implementing a court-cut decision violates institutional credibility and provides the basis for disciplinary proceedings and investigations to further administrative and criminal management.
