The chairman of the Mills Association, Bashkim Zajundu, has stressed that the price of electricity has a direct impact on the cost of producing goods, according to him affecting prices of various products. While citizens and economy connoisseurs estimate that this decision is unfair compared to the standard of living, Kosova Prees reports.
Zejnullahu has explained that although electricity is an important factor, it is not much of the cost of producing flour. For this reason, he has stressed that the price of flour is not expected to be large, though there may be a slight price increase of up to 5 euros per tonne.
“Set up electricity for 16.1 percent that Z has set The RRE will have impact and dearness in all areas of life in Kosovo, as electricity is a factor that affects production, processing and so on. But as for flour, it does not directly affect a large increase, since electricity in production costs is not much of a price composition... This should not be used as an excuse to raise prices for no reason, I don't see a reason for such a high price rise, of course there will be a slight price hike. If we talk about flour directly, if today's price is 320 or 350, the price that can be raised at best, could be around 5 euros per ton”, Zejnullahu says.
On the other side, concerned citizens express themselves. Citizens Fadil Rugova considers the decision to expensive electricity is unfair, as it will affect the price of other products. Apart from the state's non-intervention to prevent price increases, he says the same are acting against the people.
Many inappropriate decisions, against the people are working, only for personal interests. However, ( State intervention)... We feed only on oven bread”, Rugova says.
Even the citizen, Hajrullah Avdullahu, says that if the price of bread increases, it will be unaffordable.
It's a 200-euro salary, a pension... the 80-center budget they've warned him about is unaffordable. ...but we don't have a country when they can't make the Assembly”, says Avulahhi.
In the meantime, citizens Esma Rugova also says that the decision to expensive the current and the warning of dearing bread is unfair.
It's not the right decision, but I don't know how they're counting it, I don't understand how expensive it is... though it's expensive... before the state talks and fixes these jobs... it's getting released”, Rugova says.
On the other hand, economic-related connoisseur Adem Qorroll has said that rising prices for energy, bread and other essential products is a serious blow to citizens who are already facing a low income rate.
Kosovo's economy is now a step closer to collapse, and it is understood that we are already close to price increases without any balance and no costs, and of course when incomes for citizens are not growing and costs are always rising, of course that poverty and risk for a unstable economy are already near, because the government and institutions already have the country and the mind only on their positions and revenues, and little does citizens or voters care. So the citizen will be prepared to pay the electricity, pay the bread, and pay the consumer basket, which is almost all going to be moved from 10 cents to 1 euro, and those to the keyies”, says Qorroll.
Kosovo's Energy Regulatory Office on Friday 11 April disclosed that the average tariff increase for all consumer categories based on Max's Allowed Enteres is about 16%.
Kosovo citizens from May to May will pay 16 per cent more expensive for electricity. So said ZERE Board Chairman Ymer Fejzullahu.
The supply of electricity has triggered numerous reactions from businesses, political subjects and citizens, and there were even protests./Periscopi/
