The Council of Ministers has announced on Saturday, April 26, 2025, as a day of national mourning, in honour and gratitude to the Holy Father, Pope Francis, who passed away after a disease.
The decision was made in support of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania and legislation in force, with the prime minister's proposal.
During this day of mourning, the national flag will be lowered to half-point in all state and public institutions, while all radio, public and private stations are invited to broadcast funeber music in respect. /Periscope
