Osman and Chief of EULEX discuss security, rule of law in Kosovo

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted the EULEX chief's meeting today, Mr. Giovanni Pietro Barbano.

During the meeting, the latest developments in the area of security and rule of law in the country were discussed.

The two sides stressed the importance of continued co-operation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and EULEX, within the framework of this mission's technical mandate for monitoring, mentoring and advising.

President Osmani reaffirmed the commitment of the country's institutions for constructive co-operation with EULEX, in the function of strengthening constitutional order and rule of law. /Periscope/
