Its continuation began with a minute of silence for Pope Francis' death.
On Saturday, the session was interrupted again after the candidate proposed by the Vetevendosje Movement for Parliament Speaker Albulen Haxhiu received no more than 57 votes in two consecutive attempts to be elected.
LVV deputies warned today that Haxhiu would again be their candidate for chief parliament.
The PDK has said it will not vote on it. The LDK has said it will vote against, while the AAK would accept a Parliament Speaker like Saranda Bogujevci or Albanian Mehmeti Selimi.
