He said that although this Passover finds the blood-blooded world, a divided Europe and a Kosovo that groans under the burden of political responsibility, uncertainty about the future and unnecessary divisions”, it invited the calmness of the soul, the splendor of hope and the comfort of religion to be maintained.
Because we, who have believed in Evil Christ, are called upon to become the force that endures time, however difficult it may be. Today, when the world holds us under the anxiety of uncertainty, under pressure to submit to the will of the powerful, and when the desire for riches causes the hearts of many to suffer under the burden of injustice; when hopes are numb and the lives of the innocent in danger, and tomorrow's path seems increasingly dark then the angel's word at the empty grave sounds hopeful and bold: Don't be afraid... He's alive! (khs. Lk 24.5-6) and get its full divine meaning”.
“Easter is not just a calendar date or custom that is repeated every year but a vivid event in our lives that shocks the common order of this world. It is a rejection of human logic and a daily rebirth stemming from the Holy Spirit's water baptism. Easter changed us from inside to be stable in the face of challenges coming from outside”, said Dode Gjergji.
On the other hand, Dode Gjergji said he prayed to God that this Passover be made for all a new beginning, where peace and reconciliation between people in the country and around the world become the common purpose.
For those who carry social, political and military responsibilities, who are called upon to break free from hatred, cynicism and self-sufficientness mentality regardless of whether they are believers or not”.
Because we are convinced that everyone knows and acknowledges: peace is more useful than war, love is more powerful than hate, and life is stronger than death”
We pray, although we know that we cannot change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and the way we walk in this world and that it is enough to become the radiation of the One who changes hearts, sanctifys times and saves man from death by becoming the living sign of Christ's presence set in our midst”, said Dode Gjergji.
