Before qualifying for the Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia, Lopez appeared dressed in a tight pink suit with sunglasses.
Her dress drew attention as much as the energetic performance that evening, Periscope.
During the performance, it performed hits like “On the Floor”, “Let's Get Loud”, “I mean Into You” and “Aint Your Mama” in front of a public gathered in “Jeddah Cornice Circuit”.
Its performance came along with an international set of stars, including Usher, Major Lazer, Peggy Goa and Arab artists Marean Pablo, Hisham Abbas, Mosttafa Amar and Hamid El-Shaeri.
However, performance caused a series of criticisms on social networks, and many stressed that it was near Mecca, and characterised this act as the shameful “” and stressed it represents a direct insult to Islam.
The many religious officials and commentators criticized her actions, arguing that entertainment of this kind was inappropriate because they were held so close to the holy city and the Temple.
Despite negative comments, Lopez appeared in a good mood after her arrival in Saudi Arabia and the reactions he made to social networks. /Telegraphy/
