This statement comes after the next failure to establish the Kosovo Assembly, where the winning party of the February 9th vote, Vetevendosje Movement, failed to elect Albulen Haxhiu to the post of Parliament Speaker for the second time Saturday.
I really hope that the formation of functional institutions will happen soon. I think we live in a global situation where new developments do not stop. They don't wait long for things to form. Also, reforms necessary here in Kosovo must be able to move forward. So I think the sooner the better. Having a new government and a newly formed Assembly would be best for the people of Kosovo”, Ambassador Nissinen said in an interview for the KP.
After the second vote, the head of the constitutional hearing, Avni Dehari, decided to call off the session for 48 hours, which announced that the session will continue Monday at 1500. /Periscope.
