“We need to act courageously”, Fajon talks about the EU enlargement process in the Western Balkans

Slovenian top diplomat Tanja Fajon and former president of this country Borut Pahor today stressed the importance of EU enlargement in the Western Balkans, as well as the fact that this process must be accelerated.

Fajon said enlargement is a geopolitical necessity, while Pahor warned that the situation in the region is deteriorating, the STTA reports.

If we want to accelerate the enlargement process, we must act courageously”, Fajon said at the opening of the Second International Conference of Western Balkan Friends, a non-profit institute founded by Pahor in November 2023./Periscopi/
