In the forums attended by Chancellor Merz, European Commission President Ursula von der Leenen, European Parliament Speaker Roberta Metsola and 14 European prime ministers, Berisha stressed that Albania is today in the hands of a narcotics that, according to him, has turned elections into facades and exercises terror to the opposition.

Here, in front of Europe, I have denounced the sad truth about the regime of Eddie Rama. We are showing Europe that Albanians are ready for a different future, for legal state and integration”, Berisha said.

He announced that the PEP is expected to adopt a fourth resolution within five months condemning Rama's governance, naming it a full support for the opposition and a clear signal for the need for change in Albania.

This resolution openly condemns violence against the opposition, deformation of elections, violations of law and corruption. This is a statement for Albanians to separate from the regime and open a new chapter”, he added.

Berisha stressed that Rama is already a “internationally sentenced” and warned that the DP victory on May 11th would be the 75th-second victory of centre-right forces in Europe for this year”.

Responding to a question of Prime Minister Rama's irony to his participation in the PEP Congress, Berisha said that <x0->ironia comes from fears” and stressed that international support for the opposition is stronger than ever.

In the end, it also stopped at the OSCE report, naming “very serious” and another proof of real concerns about the election process in Albania. /Periscopi/
