A 38-year-old has exercised resistance against policemen who wanted to investigate him for alleged criminal acts. This happened Tuesday morning, April 22, 2025 (now), in Graz. Two police officers from the Carlauerstras have suffered in this case injuries to an indefinite degree, broadcast albinfo.at.
The Carlauerstrasse police patrol was submitted to Overseagasse shortly after 9am after the 38-year-old's former girlfriend had made a criminal complaint about several violations for the suspect, a 38-year-old Kosovar. After the accused refused to open the door for the police, his brother was able to open the door to the apartment with a key. Suddenly and unannounced, the 38-year-old suspect has been forced towards the entrance door.
Kosovar from the beginning was extremely aggressive and not cooperative. Then the suspect tried to shut the door hard. Police officers who have intervened have attempted to prevent this and have made the arrest, wrote down the 5minutes.
For his arrest he had to use pepper spray. Despite this, however, he has continued to resist and has again physically assaulted one of the police officers in his neck, accompanying albinfo. However, the two policemen with their bold intervention and use of physical force have finally managed to arrest the aggressive Kosovar.
The two have suffered injuries of an indefinite scale and have had to stop their work shift after receiving ambulance medical treatment at UKH Graz.
The suspect has also suffered injuries to an indefinite degree during the arrest. After his ambulance treatment at the UKH Graz, he was transferred to the Police Pre-price Centre in Graz. /Periscope
