The AAK- NISMA if Limaj cooperates with Kurti

Albin Kurti has held a meeting with Social Democrat Initiative head Fatmir Limaj to discuss the possibility of co-operation in establishing the new government. However, these developments have not been well received by Kurt's coalition partner, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. Pal Lekaj, deputy head of the AAK, has declared that in case Limaj [...]
Pal Lekaj, deputy chairman of the AAK, has declared that if Limaj decides to co-operate with Kurti, The AAK will share the streets with the Initiative.
“The AAK has entered the coalition with the Initiative on Promises of a political will and agreement, with the idea that causes and reasons were the same because we opposed current governance and on the basis of a joint programme on what we offered citizens in a new government. Mr. Haradinaj and AAK have not moved from those positions, while in the media we have Mr. Limas that have been interpreted as the opportunity to join Kurti Government,” said Lekaj for Insander, follow up Periscope.
Lekaj said that while there is not yet anything official from the Initiative, the AAK continues to stay within coalition lines and joint positions.
However, he warned that if the Initiative is reached with Kurti Government, then the AAK will be distanced from this coalition.
“We like AAK, unless there is anything official from the Initiative, we continue to stay within coalition lines and joint positions. But, if these days there will be positions and formal agreements of the Initiative with Kurti Government, then it is understandable that the roads will be separated, because we do not move from the pre-election agreements and attitudes made”, Lekaj added.
Lekaj said that despite these developments, the AAK wishes government success to be formed, in the hope that it will be in service to the public interests of Kosovo citizens and follow a policy of integration into the Western world, especially with the US.
According to information, Albin Kurti has had a meeting with Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj, while today he has sent a letter to Lumir Abdixhiku, the LDK chairman, to request a possible meeting.
We stress that Kurti held a cycle of meetings with the non-US community last week, but did not confirm whether he has all the votes.
